Xiaomi‘s POCO brand has announced its latest flagship phones, the POCO F6 5G and POCO F6 Pro.
The POCO F6 Pro features a sleek design with slim bezels, a metal frame, and a quad-curved glass back with a soft velvet touch. It sports a 6.67-inch WQHD+ Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels and supports up to a 120Hz refresh rate.
The display achieves peak brightness of up to 4000 nits, supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a 2160Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate, and displays 12-bit color with 68.7 billion colors. It also boasts TÜV certification and includes an in-screen fingerprint sensor that functions as a heart rate monitor.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. To maintain performance, it utilizes LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with an IceLoop System, providing a 5000mm large cooling area. The younger sibling, POCO F6 5G is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
Enhanced by WildBoost Optimization 3.0, the POCO F6 Pro offers several AI-driven features such as AI Expansion, Album, Subtitles, Magic Erase Pro, and AI portrait capabilities.
For photography, the POCO F6 Pro includes a 50-megapixel main camera with Light Fusion 800 image sensor technology and optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera is a 16-megapixel sensor with RAW domain algorithms for detailed selfies.
The device is equipped with a 5000mAh battery supporting 120W HyperCharge while F6 5G supports 90W charging. It also features the POCO Surge P2 charging chipset and Surge G1 battery chipset for optimized charging and battery management.
Additional features include a dual-wing antenna design for improved signal reception, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, Hi-Res audio (including wireless), an X-axis linear vibration motor, and AI Face Unlock. Connectivity options encompass Dual SIM 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth v5.3, NFC, IR Blaster, and GNSS positioning. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS.
