Vivo T5 Pro 5G

Vivo has officially expanded its T-series lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo T5 Pro. Aimed at heavy users and performance enthusiasts, the smartphone makes headlines primarily for its industry-leading battery capacity and robust durability ratings.

The device was unveiled today, bringing high-end specifications to the mid-premium segment. The Vivo T5 Pro centers its experience around a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that supports a fluid 144Hz refresh rate for high-quality visuals. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen processor, ensuring consistent performance across applications. Its most notable feature is a massive 9,020 mAh battery equipped with 90W FlashCharge technology for rapid power delivery. For photography, it utilizes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor on the rear and a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone runs on OriginOS 16 based on Android 1* and is built to withstand the elements with robust IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.

The standout feature of the Vivo T5 Pro is its 9,020 mAh battery, one of the largest ever seen in a mainstream smartphone. To complement this massive capacity, Vivo has included 90W FlashCharge support. According to the company, the device can reach a 50% charge in just 37 minutes, significantly reducing the “charge anxiety” often associated with large-battery phones.

The smartphone sports a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (1260×2800 pixels). To ensure a smooth gaming and scrolling experience, it supports a 144Hz refresh rate. It also boasts a peak brightness of 1900 nits, making it easily legible even under direct sunlight. The device is available in two elegant colorways: Glacier Blue and Cosmic Black.

Under the hood, the Vivo T5 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen chipset. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and is available in storage configurations of 128GB and 256GB.

On the software front, the phone debuts with Android 16 topped with Vivo’s OriginOS 16. The interface includes new AI-driven features like AI Erase for removing unwanted objects from photos and AI UHD for image enhancement.

For photography, the device utilizes a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor designed to capture high-detail shots in various lighting conditions. Selfies are handled by a 32MP front camera.

Additionally, the Vivo T5 Pro is built to last. It comes with a dual IP68 and IP69 rating, providing high-level protection against water immersion and high-pressure water jets, a rare feature in this price bracket.

Vivo T5 Pro: Price in India and Availability
The Vivo T5 Pro is priced competitively to target the mid-range market. The variants are priced as follows:

8GB + 128GB: Rs. 29,999
8GB + 256GB: Rs. 33,999
12GB + 256GB:Rs. 39,999

Consumers can avail of an instant bank discount of up to Rs. 3,000 (with HDFC, SBI, and Axis Bank) or an exchange bonus of up to Rs.3,000. No-cost EMI options for up to 6 months are also available.
