Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 13 5G series in India

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 13 5G series in India. The series comprises of three models: Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. Targeting the mid-range segment, the phones will intensify the competition.

Starting with most premium phone of the three, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display, featuring an 1.5K resolution and supporting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. This smartphone is designed with Dolby Vision support and boasts an peak brightness of 1800 nits. Additionally, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ features an in-display fingerprint sensor and is fortified with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for enhanced protection. The phone has 5000mAh battery and comes with 120W turbo charge support.

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra 4nm processor and comes with 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB RAM and storage options.
The main camera is 200-megaxpixel Samsung sensor, the others are 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel (UW lens), while the front camera is 16-megapixel. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ comes with IP68 rating, meaning that the phone is dust and water resistant. Redmi Note 13 Pro+ starts from Rs.31,999 and goes up to Rs. 35,999. It comes in White, Black and Purple colours.


The next in line is Redmi Note 13 Pro. The Redmi Note 13 Pro includes a 120Hz AMOLED display, powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. Sporting a 200-megapixel primary rear sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide and 2-megapixel macro lens. The front camera is 16-megapixel. The phone features a fast-charging battery, mirroring the capabilities of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+. However, it comes with a IP54 rating that can withstand water and dust. It features a 5100mAh battery with 67W turbo charge support. It comes in three variants: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB and starts from Rs. 25,999.


The entry level phone in the series is the Redmi Note 13. The Redmi Note 13 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display boasting a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a pixel resolution of 2400×1080. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and storage options of up to 256GB. In the realm of photography, the Redmi Note 13 5G is equipped with a 108-megapixel primary camera complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front, it offers a 16MP camera for capturing selfies. Redmi Note 13 features 5000mAh battery and comes with 33W charger. It also features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a IR blaster. It comes in 3 variants – 6GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB. The range starts from Rs. 17,999 and goes upto Rs. 21,999.

The Redmi Note 13 5G series phones will be available to purchase starting 10 Jan.
