Samsung’s flagship 3D LED TV has been finally announced for Indian consumers. The world’s slimmest 9000 Series TV has a thickness of just 7.98mm and allows to view 3D content with full HD resolution support. The 55-inch TV boasts a refresh rate of 240Hz, four HDMI ports, USB ports, integrated Wi-Fi, Internet@TV, Allshare (DLNA), Samsung Apps and 2D to 3D conversion support that converts 2D content to 3D with a touch of a button.

The TV is also accompanied with a remote control that features a 3-inch touchscreen display. With the help of Twin View, users can watch two things at once – for instance, enjoying a match on a large screen TV whereas watching a DVD or Blu-ray movie on the smaller remote control screen.

However, this technology comes at a price. The 55-inch 9000 Series model with the 3D Starter Kit costs a hefty Rs. 440,000.
