Nintendo has announced Pictonico!, a photo-based mini game title for iOS and Android. The game lets players use existing photos or take new ones in-app and converts them into short, touch-controlled mini games featuring friends and family.
Nintendo says Pictonico! is all about having fun with your pictures. Users will have up to 80 mini games to choose from, ranging from easy to tricky, and will allow them to rediscover old photos of loved ones with a twist, like skydiving with your grandma or watching your cousin perform as a ballerina.
The game is free-to-play, with a small selection of mini games playable at no cost. Additional mini games will be a part of an in-app purchase that will be unlocked through purchased volumes. Nintendo confirmed that photos are not sent to its servers.
The game releases on May 28, but is open for pre-registration now at the link below.
