It’s a bit of joy and disappointment for iPhone 4 users seeking jailbreak. Good news is that Geohot has managed to jailbreak the device, which you can see in the photographic evidence above but the bad news is that he probably won’t release it.

“As far as a release goes, it probably won’t happen from me…again, please don’t ask for release dates. Every person that does makes me want to release a little bit less.”

This of course, doesn’t mean you won’t be able to jailbreak your iPhone 4 in the future. There’s a high possibility of getting a jailbreak from other hackers.
