The legal battle between Sharp and Samsung that began in 2007 has finally come to an end. Sharp and Samsung have announced to bury the hatchet and move on, which in lawful parlance means settle all ongoing lawsuits and patent infringement disputes in U.S., Japan, Korea and Europe.

The intrinsic financial details are still under wraps but this agreement now allows both the companies to use infringed patents for their LCD panels and modules.
