New Apple TV software released, brings revamped UI, iTunes LP and more

Apple has released a new software update for its Apple TV device. The Apple TV 3.0 software features a totally redesigned main menu that allows for easier navigation and faster purchase of content from iTunes. Also, the new software brings in compatibility with iTunes Extras, iTunes LP and Genius Mixes.
iTunes Extras gives the opportunity to watch deleted scenes, interviews and more from a movie whereas iTunes LP offers music albums loaded with live performance videos, lyrics, artwork, liner notes etc. Genius Mixes plays 12 songs automatically generated from the iTunes library.
The update is available for free to Apple TV owners.
