Dell introduces Ballistic Protection equipped E6400

Dell has raised the standards of laptops offering rugged protection. The E6400 XFR has the next generation rugged protection that complies with MIL STD810F specifications. It also boasts a new protection system, dubbed as Ballistic Armor Protection System which features PR481 material used in military equipments, aircraft etc. Use of this material makes the laptop stronger than with a magnesium alloy chassis, can withstand 25 percent higher drops and protection from liquid, dust and moisture.
On the technical front, E6400 XFR is the identical to the non-rugged E6400. It has 14.1-inch display, Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Windows Vista, RAM up to 8GB, 120GB HDD or 128GB SSD, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam etc.
