Apple’s multimedia suite iLife ’09 is now shipping. The suite contains a variety of apps like the iPhoto, iMovie, GarageBand, iDVD and iWeb. All new Macs purchased on or after January 6 is eligible for the latest version while others can snag the upgrade for US$79.

The apps boast a lot of new features like the iPhoto intelligence to detect faces and tag them with their names, GPS geo-tagging etc. iMovie features the precision editor, video stabilizer and host of other features. Garageband will enable users to take music lessons from stalwarts including Norah Jones, Sting and few more.
