iPhone-Dev: YellowSn0w iPhone 3G unlock solution ready

With significant development shown from iPhone Dev’s side, I was just wondering when would they release the actual tool. Well, it looks the time has come, or atleast nearer. iPhone-Dev has announced that they will release their software-based unlock solution codenamed YellowSn0w for iPhone 3G on New Year’s Eve and is currently being packed for easy usage.
The tool however, will only applicable to jailbroken iPhones and iPhones using baseband up to 2.11.07. iPhone 3G with baseband higher than that version will not be able to unlock their phone.

Man I can’t wait for the new iPhone 3G S, my iPhone 1st gen really needs a replacer.
