MSI to showcase touchscreen Wind netbook at CES

In an interview with Laptop magazine, MSI’s Sales guy for US, Andy Tung spilled the beans of what can we expect from the Taiwanese giant in the coming year. In all, they are about to showcase about 6-7 portable devices that includes netbooks as well as notebooks at the CES. According to him, U110 and U115 will be the new Winds that will sport Atom’s Z530 processor and will be available by the end of January while U120 will be a rehashed version of U110 and will add WiMax and 3G radios. A 13.3-inch U300 notebook will also go on display which will be very thin and light
But one more surprise awaits us and that is the unveiling of a touchscreen netbook. There will be two touchscreen devices on display, a 10-inch netbook and a 16-inch notebook. Tung however has said that the touchscreen netbook will not hit the retail shelves until they gather a positive feedback about it.
