HP 6930p claims to run 24 hours on a single charge

Yes, you read that right. HP Elitebook 6930p notebook does run around 24 hours on a single battery charge provided if we meet some obligatory conditions set by HP. The consumer needs to buy an ultra capacity battery, download latest drivers along with HP BIOS and run Windows XP. Vista is a big no-no as it easily screws up the tall claims. Another couple of things instrumental to achieve such battery life is the HP Illumi-Lite LED Display which straight away extends up the battery juice by 4 hours and the inclusion of Intel SSDs which helps to increase further battery life by 7 percent. All these things will be available from October. Still if you’re in a hurry to grab it, then this 14.1-incher notebook is available in HP store sans all the battery claims.
HP has not compromised on its build quality as the model complies with MIL-STD 810F military-standard tests. The inner shell is made up of magnesium, has spill-resistant keyboard and protection against bumps and drops. Basic model starts from $1199.
