Motorola Edge 70 Pro

Motorola has officially expanded its premium Edge series in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro. Combining a sleek design with powerhouse specifications, the new flagship contender aims to disrupt the mid-premium segment. The device stands out with its ultra-slim 6.99mm profile, despite housing a gargantuan battery and a professional-grade camera system. Available in stunning Pantone-curated finishes, the Edge 70 Pro is built for users who demand both style and high-end performance without the “Ultra” price tag.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro Price in India and Availability
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro has been aggressively priced to take on the competition. The base variant, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, is priced at Rs. 38,999, while the higher-end 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 41,999. To make the deal even sweeter, Motorola is offering a Rs. 2,000 instant bank discount for Axis, HDFC, and ICICI bank cardholders, or a Rs. 2,000 additional exchange bonus. The smartphone will be available for purchase starting April 29, 2026, via Flipkart, Motorola’s official website, and leading retail stores across the country.

A Visual Treat: 1.5K Extreme AMOLED Display
One of the most striking features of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is its 6.8-inch 1.5K (1272×2772 pixels) Extreme AMOLED 10-bit display. This panel supports a buttery-smooth 144Hz refresh rate and can reach an industry-leading peak brightness of 5,200 nits, ensuring perfect visibility even under direct sunlight. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, the screen also boasts HDR10+ support and a 96.8% screen-to-body ratio, providing an immersive cinematic experience for gaming and streaming.

Flagship Performance with Dimensity 8500 Extreme
Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme SoC. Built on a 4nm process, this chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. To keep the device cool during intensive gaming sessions, Motorola has integrated a large 4600 mm² vapour chamber cooling system. On the software front, it runs on the latest Android 16-based Hello UI, with a commitment to three major OS upgrades and five years of security patches.

Pro-Grade 50MP Triple Camera System
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens that doubles as a macro camera with a 122-degree field of view, and a multispectral sensor for improved color accuracy. For selfies, the phone features a high-resolution 50MP autofocus front camera. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording stunning 4K videos at 60fps, making it a solid choice for content creators.

Massive Battery and Military-Grade Durability
Perhaps the most impressive feat of engineering is the 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery packed into such a thin chassis. The device supports 90W TurboPower fast charging, which can juice up the massive cell in no time, along with 5W reverse wired charging. Durability is also a priority, as the Edge 70 Pro features IP68 + IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and holds a MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, ensuring it can withstand drops and harsh environments.
