From the Ashes Expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Arrives December 19

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora From the Ashes Expansion

Ubisoft has confirmed that the first major story expansion of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is on its way to players later this month. The From the Ashes DLC will be available on December 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and PC.

The expansion shifts the game’s focus to the Western Frontier and introduces a new faction called the Ash Clan — a radical subgroup of Mangkwan raiders. Unlike traditional Na’vi clans, the Ash Clan’s identity is shaped by their scorched homeland, and their alliance with RDA forces makes them central antagonists driving the expansion’s conflict.

From the Ashes puts So’lek at the center of a personal storyline that revisits his past clash with members of the Ash Clan and bringing Na’vi-vs-Na’vi boss encounters for the first time.

The expansion will also bring upgraded RDA units and machinery, including Hellhounds, robotic attack canines, new Skel units, and AMP suit variants outfitted for ranged and close-quarters combat.

From the Ashes will be available as a standalone purchase or bundled in the “From the Ashes Edition,” which includes the base game and additional content set in Pandora’s Floating Mountains.

Earlier this month, Ubisoft also released a free Title Update on Dec 5 that adds a third-person camera option and New Game+ to the main game.
