Rockstar Games has confirmed that pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI will begin on June 25 across digital storefronts and select retailers. The announcement arrives alongside the game’s official cover art, released on the studio’s website and social media channels.
Pre-orders will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
GTA VI is set in Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida, a fictional take on Florida. According to Rockstar’s official synopsis, protagonists Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. An easy score goes wrong and pulls the pair into a criminal conspiracy stretching across Leonida, forcing them to rely on each other more than ever to survive.
The cover art follows Rockstar’s established format for the series, placing Jason and Lucia at the center surrounded by a collage of supporting characters, vehicles, and wildlife tied to the Leonida setting.
GTA VI is scheduled to release on November 19, 2026.
