Sony reveals PS5 logo, will sell later this year

At the CES press conference, Sony revealed the upcoming PlayStation 5 aka PS5’s logo. Not that we are surprised by what Sony is calling their new PlayStation but to be honest, we were expecting more than a logo reveal.

Nevertheless, Sony did highlight some of the features in a slide but did not go into detail. For instance, PS5 will have 3D Audio sound, adaptive triggers, ultra-high speed SSD, Ray Tracing support and UHD Blu-ray.

Sony will reveal more features and the actual look of the PS5 in the coming months with the actual console going on sale during the holiday season, later this year.
