LG Optimus Black announced in South Korea

Today is a good day for mobile enthusiasts in Korea. In addition to getting Samsung’s dual-core Galaxy S II, its archrival LG also announced Optimus Black device that will be available on KT by this weekend. The Optimus Black (LG-KU5900) is just 9.2mm thick and the 112g phone’s claim to fame is the inclusion of NOVA display. Also found in LG’s Optimus Big, the 4-inch NOVA display is one of the brightest around, having a brightness of 700nits.

Rounding up the feature set is the Android 2.2 OS, TI OMAP3630 1GHz CPU, Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi Direct support, DMB, 5MP camera, 2MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth and 1500mAh battery.
