Toshiba has announced the world’s first glasses-free 3D notebook that can display 2D and 3D content at the same time. The Qosmio T851/D8CR will be launched in Japan and feature Toshiba’s distinctive 3D Window technology that is able to display 3D and 2D content in separate windows without having to wear special 3D glasses.

Additionally, the Toshiba laptop uses SpursEngine to convert 2D to 3D content on-the-fly, uses parallax technology to create 3D images and supports other functions like Face-tracking, Face3D, Active Lens and more.

The laptop will be available from July.
