Sidekick 4G

T-Mobile USA today resurrected its Sidekick line with the Sidekick 4G. The phone has been developed by Samsung and is aimed at heavy messaging users with its five-row physical QWERTY keyboard that is revealed via a “pop-tilt” hinge and other messaging centric features like Group Text and more interestingly, Cloud Text that will allow users to chat with their friends via their PC or their phone.

Sidekick 4G runs on Android 2.2 OS so users will get all the usual Android goodness and features a 3.5-inch touchscreen display, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 3MP camera, DriveSmart support and pre-loaded social networking apps.

There’s no word on the price but expect the phone to go on sale this spring in matte black and pearl magenta.
