UPDATE: It’s gone official.

Motorola Droid 2’s GSM version has been leaked by way of an official promo video uploaded on YouTube. The Milestone 2, as you’d expect, is Droid 2’s doppelganger but supports GSM bands for the rest of the world.

Milestone 2 will have the same 1GHz CPU, 512MB RAM, Android 2.2 OS, 5MP camera with LED flash, 8GB internal memory, GPS and microSD card slot.

We don’t have any details about the release but we can expect it to be official before the holiday season kicks in.
