Sony NEX-5/NEX-3 camera gets 3D Sweep Panoramic shooting

Sony has released a new firmware update for its NEX-5/NEX-3 digital cameras that makes 3D image capturing a reality. The update adds support for 3D Sweep Panorama mode that will allow to take stunning landscape pictures in three-dimension. Needless to say, you’ll need a 3D TV to enjoy those pictures.
Other than that, the firmware also updates performance of normal 2D Panorama shooting, decreased power drain when camera is switched off and faster start-up in low light conditions.
