After giving us the first high quality pictures of Apple’s next-generation iPhone, Gizmodo has dissected the thing down. It would have been an interesting fodder for all of us to know what the new iPhone will feature but unfortunately, nothing noteworthy was revealed except the battery.

Gizmodo opened the whole device and found that most of the parts powering the device are hidden under the metal sheath and are unmarked. However, one interesting thing found was the battery won’t be user-removable as previously rumored. The iPhone case needs to be opened to replace the battery.
