WD has announced that they’re now shipping their high performance SiliconDrive N1x SSDs. The 2.5-inch SSD is apt for OEM applications and feature fast read/write speeds. The single-level cell (SLC) based SSDs support native 3Gb/s SATA interface and gives read/write speeds of up to 240/140MB per second.
It also boasts WD’s Speed Assurance tech that enables the SSD to maintain a consistent speed, Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and Windows 7 TRIM command support for high data integrity.
The drives are available now in 32/64/128GB capacities.
