Apple Tablet announcement tipped for January

A new report by Financial Times claims that a possible Apple Tablet announcement could be held in January. The report does not mention sources but says “Apple is preparing an announcement next month that many anticipate will be the official unveiling of its tablet”.
Apple is in talks with digital content providers for subscription-based television service and Apple’s tablet could be a major beneficiary.
There have been many rumors about Apple’s tablet but the closest one to this report seems the one from iLounge who claimed that it could be unveiled before January 19 next year, provided it gets an approval from Jobs.
