Forbes: Qualcomm Smartbook to be unveiled tomorrow

Qualcomm’s new Smartbook range will show its face tomorrow, according to Forbes. Forbes spoke to few Qualcomm execs who confirmed that the first Smartbook will be announced tomorrow at the company’s annual analyst meeting in New York.
Although Qualcomm didn’t divulge anything substantial related to tomorrow’s Smartbook, they did say something about Snapdragon platform (on which the Smartbooks and phones are based). About 40 Snapdragon-based devices are in the works from 15 different vendors, which includes Asus, Nokia etc.
For the uninitiated, Smartbooks are sort-of netbooks that boast touchscreen display, always-on connectivity, better graphics and longer battery life.
