NTT DoCoMo has licensed Nissan’s revolutionary clearcoat paint. The Scratch Shield is touted to be more scratch resistant than regular clearcoat paints and also features self-healing capability. Nissan uses it worldwide for its cars but now NTT DoCoMo will also use for their phones, effectively giving the power to magically repair scratches, restoring it close to the original state.

NTT DoCoMo has not confirmed which phones will get the special coating but said it will be a value-added feature for the Japanese consumers.
