SanDisk has introduced a new line of faster CompactFlash memory cards. Equipped with SanDisk’s Power Core Controller, the Extreme Pro CF cards are able to give read/write speeds of up to 90MB/s, effectively doubling the performance from the previous generation. In addition to faster speed, the SanDisk cards offer improved durability with an ability to work in extreme temperatures ranging from -25C to 85C and RTV Silicone coating to protect from moisture and humidity. The new Extreme Pro cards come in capacities starting from 16GB to 64GB and priced from $300 to $800.

Additionally, SanDisk also introduced Extreme CF cards that are capable to give read/write speeds up to 60MB/s. These will be available in capacities of 8GB to 32GB and will range from $130 to $375.
