LG has introduced XD3 Slim external USB drives in South Korea. The 13mm 2.5-inch drives support SATA II interface and comes in brushed aluminum casing for better heat dissipation and sides with rubber to give the drives some protection from external shocks.

320GB and 500GB XD3 Slim drives are selling right now for 110,000 Won (US$90) and 170,000 Won ($132) respectively.
