HTC Hero on Sprint

Sprint has announced HTC’s first customized Android device, Hero but without its iconic chin. The CDMA variant however, doesn’t lose other features as it still boasts the same 3.2-inch touchscreen display with Sense UI, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microSD slot (up to 32GB), Footprints (first for Sprint) and more.

The phone will hit all Sprint retail channels from October 11 for $179.99 after a 2-year service agreement and $100 mail-in-rebate.
