In addition to two digital cameras, Sony also revealed an accessory that takes advantage of Sony Cyber-shot technologies and clicks pictures automatically. The Party-shot is a camera dock that automatically detects faces and clicks pictures, thanks to the docked camera’s BIONZ imaging processor that helps it to detect faces and smiles. Another good thing is that the accessory can be mounted to any tripod and has the ability to pan 360 degrees and even tilt up to 24 degrees.

It is currently compatible with WX1 and TX1 and can take pictures for 11 hours continuously on two AA batteries.

Sony is taking pre-orders from today while it will reach the retail shelves in September for $150.
