Nikon introduces D300s DSLR

The roadmap leak was spot on as Nikon has announced two new DSLRs – D300s and D3000. Taking most of the features from D300, the D300s adds HD video recording at 720p resolution (24fps) and capable to record audio with the built-in mic or mic input.
On the still photography front, D300s is equipped with a 12.3 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor and EXPEED image processor to take exceptional quality pictures at relatively low noise. The camera also features a 51-point AF system, Active D-Lighting, 3D Color Matrix Metering II, high ISO sensitivity up to 6400, 3-inch LCD and two memory slots – CF and SD that can store pictures or videos on either or both the cards.
The Nikon D300s body will start selling from late August for $1799.95.
