Need a big screen on a tight budget? Good news for you coz Dell has heard your call. Presenting the Inspiron 17 that comes with a very affordable price tag, 17.3-inch screen and decent specs. For $499, the Inspiron 17 comes with a Dual Core processor, 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD, onboard graphics, 8X DVD burner, Wi-Fi, 1.3MP webcam and Vista Home Basic OS. Not exciting but yea, decent enough.
However, if you’ve got some more green paper to spend, you get variety of choices like upping the processor to 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, up to 500GB HDD, up to 8GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 256MB GPU (512MB coming soon), Blu-ray drive and a full HD display.
The notebook is available in US from today while Canadians and Europeans will get it from July 30 and Latin Americans from September 1.
