AT&T has confirmed that contract less iPhones will be sold from the coming Thursday. However, one catch over here is that even though there is no commitment, a user will still be locked with AT&T, just like we have in India.

The 8GB iPhone which was available for $199 with a contract will sell for $599 and the $299 16GB iPhone will go for $699 without contract.

Customers need to have a regular iPhone plan to use it on the AT&T network.
