The desperate need makes a person to take action. This is what happened to Mrs. Muyonjo from a remote village in Uganda who got fed up from dishonest battery chargers of her village and the fact that the first charging point was twenty miles away from her home. She took five size D batteries, wrapped all together and connected the mobile charging pin to the bare wires that were in contact with the + and – terminals of the batteries and voila! Agreed, it’s a smart way to make yourself one but definitely not a safe one. Will someone get her a solar charger?
