USPTO rewards Multi-Touch patent to Apple

Apple has finally been granted the multi-touch patent which was filed by them way back in September 2007. The US Patent No. 7479949 is very lengthy one spanning 358 pages and details each and every aspect of the multi-touch behavior.
So now it seems Tim Cook’s bold comment were not made for namesake. He has a legal document to back it. Palm, Meizu et al watch your back.
