UK citizens will finally be able to snag Sony’s OLED XEL-1 TV provided you have pile of cash lying with you, just like Uncle Scrooge. The set is just 3mm thick and boasts HD resolution, contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1 and a 178^o viewing angle.

Everything’s nice except the price. The set goes for £3490 ($4926) for the Britons whereas the same model can be procured from Japan at £1570 ($2243) or from US for £1750 ($2500).
