CherryPal, makers of environment friendly PCs have announced its first netbook at the Sundance Film Festival. CherryPal touts Bing as a truly green netbook but in fact it carries the same specs as many other netbooks available in the market. However, for the record, the untouched specs include 10.2-inch screen (1024X600), Intel 1.6GHz N270 Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, Wi-Fi, card reader, 0.3 megapixel webcam, mic, dual speakers and 3 USB ports. The netbook will run Linux based GreenMaraschino platform.

To bolster the demand for Bing, CherryPal has got a very enticing offer up for grabs. They are bundling Bing as well as their C114 nettop for $399. It’s actually a very good buy considering you could get only a 10.2-inch netbook at this price.

  1. i am using both Bing and Google and i think both search engines give relevant search results. i would still prefer Google though, because it gives a little bit more relevant search results than Bing.
