The Eee Phone rumors have been finally put to rest by the main man himself, Jonney Shih. In an interview with NYTimes, he confirmed about the ongoing development of a low cost Eee phone. The phone however, will not just be another product with an Eee sticker but it will revolve around the Eee line of products, giving users the freedom to control them. He did not divulge any more details but the phone is expected to run on Android and release in the first half of this year.
