Intel starts shipping 2.5-inch 160GB SSDs

Just as expected. Intel promised to deliver 160GB SSDs in the fourth quarter and here they are, shipping the first production batch of 2.5-inch 160GB SSDs. However, the same capacity 1.8-inch SSDs will make its way for retailing from next month. Looks like CES is the place for the 1.8-inch SSD to make an appearance.
