Google has announced the availability of Google Earth for iPhone/iPod Touch users. The software is more or less like the desktop version and benefits a lot from its intuitive multi touch. The globe rotates with just a finger flick, pinch or double tap to zoom in and two fingers to zoom out. There’s also My Location feature to determine user’s real position, Wikipedia support and Panoramio photos for visual treat of over 8 million places and monuments.
