SanDisk introduces Sansa slotMusic Player

To complement the launch of slotMusic cards, the marketing wizards at SanDisk have come up with a music player dubbed as Sansa slotMusic player. In simple parlance, it is a no frills music player which relies on external storage (only microSD cards) for music. Pop-in a slotMusic card or microSD card up to 16GB filled with music and you’ve got a decent music player in your hands.
A basic black colored player will sell for $20 a piece whereas an artist-branded player which includes an artist’s design on the outer shell and a 1GB slotMusic card will go for $35. US is bound to get the player pretty soon in Wal-Mart and Best Buy. Rest of the world, in case you’re interested, early 2009 is the destined schedule.
