Asus preparing Glaxy7 to combat high end Pocket PC phones

Asus’s high end Pocket PC phone has been leaked. A Polish site names it Glaxy7 and reveals its specifications. The phone is a direct competitor to Samsung’s Omnia and is expected to see the retail launch in October. It has a nice 3.5” WVGA screen (800 x 600 pixels), Glide UI sits atop Windows 6.1 Pro and has a Blackberry-esque trackball to maneuver the mouse. Another important thing the phone carries is a 5 megapixel shooter.

It has a lovely 3.5-inch touchscreen display supporting WVGA resolution, Asus’ Glide UI, HSPA, 5MP camera, GPS and Wi-Fi which can be configured to function as an access point by sharing its HSPA connection.
