Asus launches CX34 Chromebook Plus in India

ASUS India has launched the ASUS Chromebook Plus CX3402, a lightweight laptop designed to enhance productivity. Weighing a mere 1.4kg, it marks the debut of the ASUS Chromebook Plus series.

Available in configurations featuring Intel Core i3-1215U and Intel Core i7-1255U processors, the Chromebook Plus CX3402 offers up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and choices of 512GB PCle 4.0 SSD. Operating on the ChromeOS system, it ensures seamless performance. The laptop supports advanced wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 capabilities.

Equipped with a 14-inch FHD display panel, the Chromebook Plus CX3402 offers a touch screen option for a versatile user experience. The device features a high-resolution 1080p FHD camera with Temporal Noise Reduction and Webcam Shield for enhanced video quality. Its full-size chiclet backlit keyboard with 1.4mm key travel ensures comfortable typing, complemented by a 180-degree lay-flat hinge and a 5.7-inch touchpad supporting multi-touch gestures.


In terms of connectivity, the Chromebook includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, an HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack. Powering the device is a 50Wh, 3-cell Li-Polymer battery, supporting 45W USB-C charging. Introducing innovative features, the Chromebook Plus CX3402 enhances creativity with tools like Magic Eraser and improved movie-creation capabilities.

The ASUS Chromebook Plus CX3402, featuring Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage, is priced at Rs. 39,990 and is offered in the stylish Rock Grey color. For customers acquiring a Chromebook Plus device from October 8, 2023, to January 31, 2024, there’s an exclusive offer. They will enjoy a complimentary 3-month trial of Adobe Photoshop Web, along with access to the Adobe Express Premium plan.
