Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G launched in India; charges 100% in 19 minutes

Xiaomi has announced its flagship phone, the Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G in India. The phone has many highlights and one of the top most being its camera. The Xiaomi Pro 5G comes with a Leica triple camera setup. There is a 50-megapixel 75mm floating telephoto lens, a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Xiaomi claims that it has the biggest camera sensor ever on a smartphone. The primary camera on the Xiaomi 13 Pro features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The large sensor size captures more light and results in exceptionally brilliant and detailed images, regardless of the environment. Along with the excellent light-capturing capabilities, there’s a high dynamic range and exceptionally low noise.

Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G also features first time ever, a Leica 75mm floating telephoto lens. The lens features focal shift technology that lets you shift the focus range from as close as 10 cm (for macro shots). The lens also features the incredible capability of a 70x zoom.

The rear video resolution supported is 8K @ 24 FPS, 4K @ 24/30/60 FPS, 1080P @ 30/60 FPS and 720P @ 30FPS. It also supports Dolby Vision HDR Video Recording, HyperOIS, and 4K Night Video modes. The front camera is 32-megapixel.

Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G features a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus and also supports HDR10+. The screen refresh rate is 120Hz.

Powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G comes in 12GB + 256GB variant. Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G features a 4820 mAh battery and supports 120W wired hypercharge technology. The phone can be charged fully, 100% in just 19 minutes. It also supports 50W Wireless Turbo Charge and 10W wireless reverse charge.

For Security and Authentication, there is a Fingerprint Scanner on Display, and Xiaomi offers 3 Years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. The phone runs on Android 13 and MIUI 14.

Xiaomi 13 Pro 5G retails at a price of Rs. 79,999; however, with the ICICI card offer, users can get a flat discount of Rs. 10,000 and the phone can be availed for Rs. 69,999. It is available in two colours Ceramic White and Ceramic Black.

The early access sale for Xiaomi 13 Pro goes live exclusively at 12PM on March 6 on mi.com, select Mi Homes and Mi Studios. However, if you miss the early access sale, the first sale for Xiaomi 13 Pro starts from March 10, 12PM onwards on mi.com, and Amazon.in, Mi Homes and Mi Retail Partners.
