Xiaomi 11i

Xiaomi has kickstarted the new year with the announcement of the Xiaomi 11i series for the Indian market. Both phones in the series — Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge are very similar in features except for the difference in the phone’s battery capacity and the charging speeds. The Xiaomi 11i 5G comes with a 5160mAh battery with 67W charging support that comes in the box while the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge sports a 4500mAh battery but supports a superfast 120W charging (and bundles the charger) that can charge the phone to 100% in just 15 minutes.

The Xiaomi 11i duo comes with a sleek, attractive design and is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 920 chipset, 6 or 8GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage with a microSD card slot. Running the latest MIUI 12 version, the phones feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz with a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a peak brightness of 1200 nits.

Camera-wise, the Xiaomi Mi 11i phones are equipped with three cameras at the rear with a 108MP main camera along with 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro. On the front, there’s a 16MP for selfies.

Rounding up the decent-sounding spec sheet are Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G support.

Both phones go on sale from January 12 in Pacific Pearl, Stealth Black, Camo Green & Purple Mist color options. The Xiaomi 11i is priced at Rs. 24,999 (6GB+128GB) and Rs. 26,999 (8GB+128 GB) whereas the Hypercharge edition will sell for Rs. 26,999 (6GB+128GB) and Rs. 28,999 (8GB+128 GB). Customers with select credit cards and introductory offers can knock off an additional Rs. 2,500 off the selling price while the existing Redmi Note can get extra Rs. 4,000 discount on the exchange of their smartphones.
