Xiaomi India announces 75-inch QLED TV

April 23, 2021 By Kunal Gangar Leave a Comment

Xiaomi today announced a new addition to its Smart TV lineup. It’s the Mi QLED TV 75” that brings in improved picture quality and tech to enjoy latest-generation gaming.

In addition to the large 75-inch display size, the QLED TV 75” is equipped with Quantum Dot technology and 120Hz refresh rate with Reality Flow 120 (MEMC) for smooth viewing experience. It has a colour gamut of 100% NTSC with 192 zone local dimming and an array of HDR support, including Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR10 and HLG.

Another interesting addition is the support for HDMI 2.1 that brings support for Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and e-ARC, which means you can enjoy gaming on the latest Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles.

The only missing feature is the Dolby Atmos support but it is compensated with the Dolby Audio support and DTS-HD for its 30W speaker setup of 6 drivers.

The software is still powered by Google’s Android TV OS along with PatchWall that tries to give the best of both worlds for OTT content consumption. However, the biggest change is the inclusion of far-field mics that lets you control the TV via Google Assistant hands-free and can be toggled on/off with a button on the remote. The TV will also support Alexa, which will be activated after a software update.

The Mi QLED TV 75″ will go on sale from April 27 on Mi.com, Mi Home and Flipkart.com at Rs. 1,19,999 but HDFC debit and credit card users can avail a cashback of up to Rs. 7,500 or a no cost EMI option up to 12 months.
