Motorola launches new mid-range phones, the moto g60 and g40 fusion

Motorola today launched two new phones in the g-series. The moto g60 and moto g40 fusion. Both the phones come with stock Android 11 and Motorola’s security – ThinkShield that offers business-grade security. The devices are water-repellent and feature a dedicated Google Assistant button.

Let us dive into details of each smartphone, starting with the moto g60

The moto 60 is powered by Snapdragon 732G processor. It comes in a single variant of 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 6.78-inch HDR10+ screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The device boasts a 108-megapixel primary camera with new Ultra Pixel technology that as per Motorola provides 9x light sensitivity for sharp and bright images. Other lenses include an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The front camera is 32-megapixel. The phone has a massive 6000mAh battery and supports TurboPower charging. moto g60 will be available in Dynamic Gray and Frosted Champagne colours. It will be available starting April 27th, 12pm onwards at Rs. 17,999 on Flipkart. With an instant discount worth Rs. 1,500, ICICI bank card users will be able to purchase the device at an effective price of Rs. 16,499

Motorola claims the moto g40 fusion to be India’s most affordable device packed with Snapdragon 732G. moto g40 fusion also comes with a 120Hz 6.8-inch HDR10 display. It features a 64-megapixel quad camera. There is an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro lens as well. It has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Like the g60, moto g40 fusion also has a 6000mAh battery. While it comes in two options, 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB.

The moto g40 fusion will go on sale starting May 1, 12 pm on Flipkart, priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant and Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant. ICICI bank card users can also avail of an instant discount worth Rs. 1,000 to purchase the smartphone for Rs. 12,999 (4/64GB) and Rs. 14,999 (6/128GB).
