Apple readies to launch HomePod in India

Apple unveiled the HomePod in June 2017 and while they have been rolling the smart speaker out in stages globally, India was never a part of the release, until now that is. iOS 13.3.1 update that was released a few hours ago confirms support for Indian English Siri for the HomePod but the more damning fact is HomePod’s product page on the Apple India website. Apple India lists HomePod at Rs. 19,900, however, there’s no info on the exact availability.

HomePod is Apple’s smart speaker that allows interacting with Siri to control smart home and play music via Apple Music or other sources like Spotify and more.
