Samsung announces Galaxy A 2020 phones, Galaxy A71 and Galaxy A51

Samsung Vietnam today announced the Galaxy A 2020-series phones, the Galaxy A71 and the Galaxy A51. Both devices feature an Infinity-O display with the front camera housed in the center much like the Note10 series. The Galaxy A71 is powered by Snapdragon 730 processor and comes with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also supports micro SD cards up to 512GB. The screen size of the phone is 6.7-inch and the rear has a diamond prism finish. The rear quad cameras of the A71 are 64-megapixel, 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 5-megapixel depth sensor, and 5-megapixel macro lens. Samsung for the first time is using a macro lens in the Galaxy series. The front camera is 32-megapixel. The phone runs on 4000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

Galaxy A71 comes in four colours – Black, Blue, Silver and Pink. The pricing and availability of the device is not yet confirmed.

On the other hand, the Galaxy A51 runs on Exynos 9611 processor and comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The screen size of the phone is 6.5-inch Super AMOLED FHD+. The A51 also comes with quad cameras at the rear, however, the only difference is the primary sensor which is 48-megapixel here as compared to 64-megapixel in the A71. The front camera is also 32-megapixel like the A71. The Galaxy A51 has 4000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. Both the devices feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, 3.5-mm audio jack and run on Android 10 with OneUI2. Samsung has priced the A51 at 7,990,000 Vietnamese Dong (approx Rs. 25,000) and is available Blue, Black, Pink and White colours.
